Substantial spring flooding has impacted large portions of the Heartland. Please review the resources below for help in each state. Heartland Flood Help also offers resources for individuals preparing for a flood and information for those facing the aftermath of these events.

Visit Recovery.MO.gov to find information and other resources on the spring flooding in Missouri. You can also contact United Way 211 for assistance with unmet flood recovery needs.


Arkansas state government has put together resources to help keep residents safe and informed about the spring floods.


Oklahomans in need of flood-related assistance should contact 211 Oklahoma.

Legal Aid of Nebraska, the statewide provider of legal assistance for low-income people, offers free help on legal issues to victims of state-declared disasters, through a network of volunteer lawyers across Nebraska. Please visit their website for more information.

Iowa Legal Aid provides free legal assistance to eligible low-income residents in the state. This assistance includes free legal aid for issues related to disaster relief and flood recovery.
